The Bahamas are considered one of the dreamiest getaways around the world, and they do not disappoint when it comes to beaches. Located in the Caribbean and consisting of nearly 700 islands, they’re home to a number of gorgeous beaches. If you’re planning a trip to one (or more) of these islands, here are the top 5 beaches – for all sorts of travelers.
1. Cabbage Beach (Paradise Island)
Paradise Island lives up to the lofty expectations set by its name, and Cabbage Beach is a shining example of just how wonderful the island is. Gorgeous white sands line clear blue waters. Many water activities are available along the beach, including jet skiing and parasailing. Stroll down the shoreline to check out some of the open-to-public areas of nearby resorts such as Atlantis – there are several shops and restaurants you can visit. A variety of vendors also offer drinks, snacks, and more along the beach itself. This is a great option for those looking to relax in the sun or enjoy water activities. The waters themselves, however, can be rough or home to rip tides, so this may not be the best option for swimming or those with young children.
