Qatar Airways, the Official Airline Partner of the United Rugby Championship (URC), concluded its participation in the 2023 season at the URC Grand Final on 27 May, congratulating Munster at DHL Stadium in Cape Town, South Africa.
The clash in Cape Town represented the pinnacle of elite club rugby. To further celebrate the match, the airline launched a social media contest where winners were invited to experience Qatar Airways’ best-in-class service via VIP hospitality tickets, and were gifted a signed Munster jersey. Additionally, Qatar Airways offered attending rugby fans a discount of up to 15 per cent on flights upon joining the airline’s Privilege Club.
