This new route will commence on May 27, 2024 just in time for spending summer in the stunning Algarve region of southern Portugal.

This is the first-ever nonstop flight from the U.S. to Faro, making it easier than ever for travelers to get to this trending destination.

2. New York To Tulum, Mexico

Another exciting new flight route is New York, New York (JFK) to Tulum, Mexico (TQO) on JetBlue Airways, which will begin on June 13, 2024.

JetBlue is the latest airline to announce new direct flights to Tulum International Airport, which just opened in December and has started welcoming international flights this week.

3. Dallas To Barcelona, Spain

Another new international flight route launching this summer is Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PHL) to Naples, Italy (NAP) on American Airlines beginning June 5, 2024.

Travelers can also fly nonstop to Naples from the New York metro area, with direct flights from both JFK and Newark.

Naples is the gateway to the stunning Amalfi Coast region of Italy, as well as beautiful islands like Ischia and Capri.

Venice is another Italian city with a new nonstop flight route from the U.S. this summer. Beginning June 5, 2024, American Airlines will fly nonstop from Chicago, Illinois (ORD) to Venice, Italy (VCE.)

6. New York To Palermo, Italy

Here’s a really cool new route for travelers craving a new destination in Italy. The Italian airline Neos Air will commence flights from New York, New York (JFK) to Palermo, Italy (PMO) on June 9, 2024.

7. New York To Bucharest, Romania

New York is getting another exciting international flight route this summer, with the relaunch of direct flights to Romania for the first time in more than 20 years.
