To be eligible for the Spanish digital nomad visa you’ll have to meet the following visa requirements:
- You must work remotely either remotely or self-employed for a company located outside of Spanish and using exclusively computer telematics and telecommunication media and systems. But up to 20% of your income can come from a Spanish company.
- You’ll need either an undergraduate or postgraduate degree OR you’ll need at least 3 years of experience working in your field.
- You’ll have to be able to show that you have been working for your company or having a freelance relationship with your clients for at least 3 months prior to your application and have a contract wiht them for at least a year.
- You’ll need to hit the minimum salary requirement of €31,752 ($34,580) a year, which is €2,646 ($2800) per month.
- You can’t have a criminal record. To prove that you’ll need to submit a criminal records certificate with a minimum validity of 90 days, and this must be legalized and apostilled.
