As luck would have it, this summer will see the opening of four new stunning places that promise even the most seasoned of travelers something new, exciting, and luxurious to look forward to.
But where, exactly, are these resorts and what do we know about them? Stick around to find out.
Riu Palace Aquarelle
With 24-hour service, 4 outdoor pools, and 753 incredible suites, the new Riu Palace Aquarelle is the ultimate all-inclusive resort.
Though it’s just opened, there’s plenty travelers are already loving about the place, including the location, the food, the friendly staff, and the amazing pools with lots of space to accommodate all patrons.
Located on White Bay Beach, you can rest assured that the natural sights surrounding the resort are just as impressive – between that and the fact that here, you’ll find everything you could want from child-friendly amenities to indulgent wellness retreats, this is truly a place everyone has to experience at least once in their lives.
The average room goes for roughly $550, which, while pricey, is still pretty on par with the type of service and amenities you’ll be getting in return.
Just remember that there’s a 4-night minimum stay rule, so you’ll want to put aside at least $2000-something if you’re planning to stay at the new Riu Palace Aquarelle this summer.
Grand Decameron Montego Beach
Looking for something closer to Montego Bay?
Grand Decameron Montego Beach, the love child of Wyndham and Decameron, is the perfect choice – and one of their three brand-new resorts coming to the Caribbean this summer (two of which are all-inclusive).
Here, you’ll find everything from a well-equipped fitness center and water sports establishments to an amazing entertainment calendar and mouth-watering food.
The best part about all this is that you won’t have to go into the $500 range to get that royalty treatment you’re looking for – rooms here average $223 a night.
And, before you ask, yes; Wyndham Rewards members will be able to use their points for stays at this hotel, so that number can be brought down by a lot.
Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach
Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach is the second all-inclusive resort coming from the Wyndham-Decameron alliance this summer, and true to fashion, it’s already receiving glowing reviews from travelers.
People have especially fallen in love with the coffee bar, amazing entertainment team, dreamy ocean views, and high-quality room safes that let you enjoy those long sunbathing sessions without having to worry about your priced belongings.
Beyond all that, the 146-room resort is perfect for those looking to get in touch with their adventurous side this summer – kayaking, canoeing, and sailing are all done and taught on-site, so you’ll still get a kick of adrenaline in between spa treatments.
Most rooms go for ~$350, but there’s currently a deal on Agoda that lets you book on certain dates for as little as $236, so if you want to get the most bang for your buck, you’ll need to make those reservations quick.
The Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica
There’s been a lot of contradicting information floating around online about this next resort, so we’re here to set the record straight.
Yes, Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica is a long-awaited 1000-room hotel that just opened in Jamaica, but what most reports get wrong is its location.
Since its opening was announced, the resort was marketed as Negril’s newest addition, but in reality, this Princess resort is located on Green Island, which is actually a half-hour drive away from Negril – so going in with realistic expectations is of the essence here.
The entire site will consist of 4 different resorts, 14 overwater villas, and even a casino, and if you’re looking for flawless beaches, this is the place to be.
Because the place is so ginormous, builders have taken the time to curate the surrounding natural sights, too, including the beaches, so rest assured there won’t be one sub-par view the entire time you’re here.
As far as pricing goes, most rooms go for $485, so generally on par with other all-inclusives of its kind.
