Can you capture the soul of Africa?

If you’ve taken some photographs that showcase Africa’s extraordinary folks, wildlife and experiences, then you have the month of September to submit them for consideration in Wilderness Safaris’ ‘Capture the Soul of Africa’ photographic competitors, run in partnership with Olympus.

This gallery celebrates some of the entries from the 2017 and 2018 occasions, and we’re wanting ahead to seeing the shortlisted photographs from this 12 months’s competitors, when they’re revealed by the panel of professional judges – themselves famend wildlife, portrait and macro photographers – on October 15. A public vote will then establish the favorite photographs in every class, which shall be introduced in late November.

Photographs will be taken wherever in Africa, however should fall into one of the 5 classes: African wildlife; African panorama; Conserving Africa’s wilderness; People/cultures and communities of Africa; and Africa’s crops and bugs (macro).
