According to research conducted by OAG, a company specialising in aviation analytics on a global scale, Etihad Airways, the flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates, was one of the most punctual carriers in the Middle East and the world during the busiest summer travel period.
Etihad has earned an on-time arrival performance rating of 83% or better within 15 minutes since April.
Since April 2022, OAG has rated Etihad as one of the few airlines in the Middle East that routinely achieves an 80% on-time arrival performance and has one of the lowest cancellation rates in the world.

OAG defines on-time performance as a flight arriving within 15 minutes of its planned time, a standard metric in the airline industry that considers various factors that might impact operations.
