The Travel Magazine

Stylish, relaxing with its own hot-spot restaurant and in a sizzling location.

The Landmark hotel is an elegant and high-end hotel even if the surrounding area is a little sordid. The red light district at Nana Plaza heaves at night while the hotel’s expansive marbled lobby and granite reception with its high ceiling talks of decorum and space. It’s a reassuring place to come home to.

Nevertheless, it is in the centre of Thailand’s capital in the lower Sukhumvit, just a couple of minutes walking distance of the Nana BTS Skytrain station and a one train stop away from Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) and plenty of other sights and landmarks.

Who for:

The Landmark is a great choice for business travellers thanks to its central location and stylish corporate ambience. At the same time, weekend frolickers would appreciate the comfort, the style and the location.

Accommodation

Premium room

The Landmark Hotel has 399 elegant, modern rooms arranged over 31 floors. They come with soft carpets and funishings in muted autumnal colours that are both pleasing and relaxing.

There’s plenty of mod cons including flat-screen TVs, complimentary water, tea, and coffee a nifty Herman Miller Aeron designer office chair and a very comfortable, large landmark Blissful bed. Our room Premium Corner room gave us some great views over Bangkok on two sides.

The spacious bathroom comes with a freestanding bath and a separate rainfall shower as well as aromatic toiletries, toothbrushes and toothpaste.

It is separated from the room by glass. However, you can save your blushes with a press of a button that turns the glass opaque.

Food & Drink

There are seven on-site restaurants/bars featuring Atrium Restaurant and a cosy Rendezvous Bar perfect for that contemplative drink, both reached via the lobby

On the 31st floor is the Rib Room and Bar steakhouse looking attractive in crimson and black with far-reaching views over Bangkok. French fayre is cooked in an open kitchen, and it’s a treat to tuck into their signature steak dishes cooked by your table with some theatrics.

A buffet-style breakfast is served at the Atrium Restaurant, and though not a fan of buffets, theirs is sensational, serving all types of cuisines and eggs cooked to order as you like them.
