JetBlue has announced its winter sale, highlighting some flights as low as $29 one-way. The list of flights includes a number of domestic locations as well as Caribbean hotspots.
The New York based budget carrier is trying to entice some winter-weary travelers into an impulse vacation with the sale ending in just a few days. All of the flights bought in the sale must be purchased by February 1st, and the flights must only be for itineraries between February 5th and March 31st.
Importantly, the deal does exclude Friday and Sunday travel as well as black-out dates from February 17th to February 28th.
It seems like a short window to make a decision and go, but for those able to jump on board, there are some steals to be had.
Those looking for a shorter trip can enjoy the lowest fare of $29. Laguardia, NY, to Boston, MA is running at that rock bottom rate. Most likely cheaper than a train ticket between the two northern cities. Those intent on sunnier climes but not necessarily out of the country can hop on a flight from Laguardia to Jacksonville, FL for $39.
JFK gets several brilliant deals to grab customers’ attention. The New York hub has flights to Miami coming in at $49 one-way, making South Beach and a cocktail a real and affordable possibility for those struggling with the cold. Those looking for a little southern hospitality can shoot for Charleston, SC, which is listed as starting at $54.
The Caribbean deals are when the steals really appear. JFK also has links to Nassau, Bahamas, and Turks and Caicos both starting at $64 each way. These flights are phenomenal value and, combined with a solid hotel package, provide the opportunity for a super affordable getaway at some of the best destinations in the world. Slightly more expensive is Aruba, which also has flights from JFK heading out for as little as $79.
Cancun is also getting some attention with flights starting at less than $100. The destination is currently one of the most popular in the world and is still taking tourists despite recent COVID restrictions. Jumping on one of these deals may pay serious dividends for those heading to Mexico’s top tourist spot. There’s the potential for fewer crowds, and hotels may have some deals to compensate for the current concern.

On the west coast, a quick trip between some of the major cities is on the cards for prices as low as $34. Flights between Los Angeles and San Francisco will clock in at that price, and LA locals can hit the casinos in Sin City with the Las Vegas flights coming in at $39.
There are even more deals listed on the JetBlue website based on location, as well a hotel package to match. Some phenomenal hotel and round trip packages include two nights in Cancun for $219, Curacao for $342, and $435 for Grand Cayman.
To reiterate, any of these flights must be booked before February 1st, so quick action is needed.
