JetBlue just announced two new nonstop flights to popular European destinations in 2024.
These routes will be seasonal, running through September 30, 2024, perfect for planning a spring or summer getaway next year.
Travelers will be able to fly direct to Dublin, Ireland and Edinburgh, Scotland from the United States as part of the airline’s trans-Atlantic expansion.
Both routes will launch next spring, with daily flights to Dublin beginning on March 13, 2024 from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Boston’s Logan International Airport.
Daily flights from New York to Edinburgh will commence on May 22, 2024.
How Does This Benefit Travelers?
These new European routes make it easier to access popular destinations at a lower cost.
JetBlue began launching trans-Atlantic routes in 2021, offering round-trip fares as low as $499 in economy to compete with larger players like Delta, United, and American Airlines, as well as major European airlines.
The first international route JetBlue launched with New York to London in the summer of 2021, followed by Paris earlier this year and Amsterdam in September.
Dublin and Edinburgh are just the latest destinations to be served by this rapidly expanding airline.
According to The Points Guy, round-trip fares for both routes will be available for as low as $400 in economy and $2,000 for JetBlue’s Mint business class.
The new Dublin route, which launches on March 13, 2024, will allow travelers in New York and Boston to visit the Irish capital just in time for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations next year.
Meanwhile, travelers will be able to discover the history and culture of Edinburgh and the rest of Scotland beginning May 22, 2024.
More New Flights From JetBlue
JetBlue has announced several new European routes in 2023.
This summer, JetBlue launched nonstop flights from New York to Paris, and the airline will be adding a second daily flight beginning June 20, 2024.
Travelers in the Boston area will also be able to fly nonstop to Paris next spring, with a Boston to Paris route launching on April 3, 2024.
This fall, JetBlue also started flights from New York and Boston to Amsterdam.
Dublin and Edinburgh are just the latest cities to join the roster of this airline’s growing trans-Atlantic offerings, and they will begin next spring, just in time for the popular summer travel season.
