Paris is considered one of the most romantic cities in the world, and it is popular with couples and honeymooners, as well as history lovers and culture seekers.
Air France regularly flies American travelers to the City of Lights, and now they have added another American city to their flight plan.
Here’s what you need to know about the new nonstop flight route that will connect Paris with this U.S. city:
New Flight Route
Air France is launching a new nonstop route between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and Phoenix Sky Habor International Airport (PHX).
This new service will start on May 23, and during the summer months, passengers from Phoenix will be able to take advantage of 3 weekly round trips between the two cities.
This new route is available to book now and this is the first time there has ever been a nonstop service between these two cities.
Travel between Paris and Phoenix is already in high demand. According to the latest figures, the number of passengers traveling on itineraries between the two cities has grown to be 40% higher now than the levels seen during the previous high in 2019.
The plane flying this route will be the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which will offer 30 lie-flat business class seats, 21 premium economy seats, and 228 economy seats.
Heading from Phoenix to Paris the flight will leave at 2.10pm and arrive in Paris at 9.15am the next day.

Flying With Air France
This is far from the first Air France flight to connect Paris to the United States. In fact, the airline already flies to 16 other U.S. cities with this new Phoenix route, bringing the total to 17.
On May 13, the airline will resume its seasonal summertime flights between Paris and Minneapolis.
The airline has also announced that the route from Paris to Raleigh-Durham in North Carolina that was launched this winter will be extended until the end of summer 2024.
As well as flying to 17 destinations within the United States, Air France also flies to five destinations in Canada and two in Mexico, meaning that North American passengers are well catered to by the airline.
