Sol Blume Festival, 19th-20th August
One for R&B, Soul, & Hip-Hop Music lovers, Sol Blume Festival is a magical weekend centred on art, culture, love, social diversity, and good vibes. 2023 will be the festivals fourth year running, and will see some of today’s most acclaimed R&B and soul music acts perform, including Brent Faiyaz, Kehlani, Ella Mai and Teyana Taylor.
10th Anniversary of Farm-to-Fork Festival, 7th-23rd September
Celebrating its 10th year, Sacramento’s Farm-to-Fork Festival celebrates the region’s incredible food and agriculture, introducing people to the chefs, farmers, ranchers, vintners and brewers who are bringing delicious food and drinks to the city’s tables every day., The festival pairs good music with great food every year, and 2023 will be no different, local chefs such as Sean Rumery, Craig Takehara, and Rebecca Campbell will share their knowledge and some tasty food, and musicians such as Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals and Cannons will be performing in free concerts on Sacramento’s Capitol Mall.
Legends of Wine, 7th September
As part of the Farm-to-Fork Festival, the regions many wineries and vineyards are celebrated at the Legends of Wine tastings, 40 expertly selected wineries set up in front of the State Capitol, and welcome visitors to sample delicious wine from across the region, often poured by the makers themselves, alongside selections of cheese and other bites to go with them.
Aftershock Festival, 5th-8th October
Aftershock is the West Coast’s biggest rock festival celebrating the best of rock, punk and metal music, this year’s headliners are the legendary Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Avenged Sevenfold, and Korn. 2023 will be Aftershock’s biggest year yet as 95 bands join the headliners to fill the four day festival, this includes Godsmack who will be debuting their newest album Lighting Up The Sky as well as, Pantera, Incubus, Queens of the Stone Age, Limp Bizkit, Megadeth, Rancid, Turnstile, 311, The Cult, AFI, I Prevail, Dance Gavin Dance, plus loads more new and exciting rock groups.
Golden Sky, 14th-15th October
Calling all country music fans, Golden Sky festival is the ideal weekend for fans to don their stetson hats and enjoy some good old country, headlined by Jon Pardi, Maren Morris, Eric Church, and Parker McCollum it’s set to be an unforgettable weekend. But Golden Sky is much more than a country music festival, attendees can also perfect their line dancing in the River City Saloon, enjoy food from some of Sacramento’s best restaurants at The Farm House, deck themselves out just like a cowboy or girl at the El Dorado Market, and even enjoy sports at the on-site ‘Sidelines Sports Bar’ plus more.
