Planning a winter vacation this year?
Here’s the average cost of a winter trip in some of the most popular destinations this year, according to research from travel insurance company Squaremoth.
Their analysis identifies the average cost of a vacation to each destination, as well as the average length of trips to each place, based on travel insurance policies that have been taken out for trips this winter.
The one element that’s not identified in the research is the number of travelers; however, it’s safe to assume that these numbers reflect a mixture ranging from solo travelers to larger families traveling together.
Depending on how many people you’re traveling with and your travel style (budget, mid-range, or luxury), you can expect to spend less or more than these averages, but they offer a good ballpark estimate.
United States
