These are the top 10 trending destinations for 2024: 

Beppu, Japan

Travel to Japan surged in popularity during 2023 with the large metropolitan cities of Tokyo and Japan attracting huge numbers of visitors.

This year Japan’s rural destinations are trending rather than its urban heart. Beppu is located in the Oita prefecture on the island of Kyushu and is best known for its onsen hot springs.

This is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The biggest attractions here are the visual spectacular of its themed springs which are designed to stimulate all of the senses.

Valkenberg, Netherlands

Interested in the rich culture of the Netherlands but don’t want to jostle with the crowds in the over touristed capital of Amsterdam?

You’re not alone with the lesser-known town of Valkenberg trending for 2024 instead.

Valkenberg is located in the south of the country and is best known for its castle on the hill: a rare sight in a city as flat as the Netherlands. This is a pretty town with outstanding views and a rural location.
