Budapest, Hungary has been having a record-breaking year for tourism, with more visitors than ever flocking to this gorgeous European capital.
But Christmas is actually one of the best times of year to visit! Budapest goes full-on for the holidays, with several major Christmas markets where you can enjoy delicious food like sugary chimney cakes and hot beverages.
Even though it can get extremely cold in Budapest around the holidays, one of the best ways to stay warm is to pay a visit to one of the city’s historic thermal baths like Széchenyi Thermal Bath or Gellért Thermal Bath.
