From September 19 to 22, the invitation-only International Luxury Travel Market North America (ILTM) event took place at the luxury hotel Fairmont Mayakoba—ranked among the best hotels in the world— in the Riviera Maya, Mexico.
This year’s event was the 10th edition and was considered “the pinnacle of the luxury travel markets” among travel experts. It was 20% bigger than any other edition, and Los Cabos stood out as a prestigious and top-notch destination.
According to the information shared by the Mexican Travel news site Reportur, Los Cabos’ representation strengthened the ties of cooperation with industry experts and the most outstanding international brands.
At the event, 360 exclusive brands, 360 travel agents, and 40 media representatives participated. Rodrigo Esponda, general director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, said: “ILTM America is a key forum that allows us to endorse the positioning of Los Cabos as the luxury destination in Mexico and an international benchmark for the development and growth of the segment.”
About the event, Esponda added: “It is a bridge to strengthen our relationship with representatives of the most prestigious brands and encourage their visit”.
To promote Los Cabos, the best luxury hotels in the region, such as Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, Zadún, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos, as well as Leblanc Spa Resort Los Cabos, and Hilton Los Cabos Beach Resort y Marquis Los Cabos Resort and Spa were part of the delegation.
