It should come as no surprise that Florida has taken the top spot and stolen the limelight as the best vacation destination in the U.S.
Florida came in first place as the best-value vacation destination on the list.
Between June and August this year, you can expect to pay an average of $175 per night for a 3-star hotel in the state.
Florida also has the most attractions by land area than any other U.S. state.
As well as the obvious attractions that draw millions of visitors from around the world, such as Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, you’ll also find 286 beaches and 205 shopping malls here.
Florida can be hot and humid during the summer months but with an abundance of water parks, beaches, and other options to cool down, it’s officially the best state to visit for a vacation right now.
